This is what the multi-player community should have had when the game was released, but unfortunately RSE didn't.  Well, this is the what Game Spy is for Quake.  If you play IP games, this is a must have add on.

R6 Device Picker   Author: RSE
This is the utility that is contained on the eagle watch CD that will allow users to disable the intro movie as well as choose what devices the game uses to run the audio and video.  It is great for troubleshooting R6 when it will not run.

Dr. Mod 3.5  Author: N/A
If you are like me and find that too many of the mods end up screwing up the original R6, this is the mod for you.  It supports the several different mods, and also allows you to restore R6 back to it's original 1.03a settings.
