Rogue Spear Elite Invitational

[ News ] [ Brackets ] [ Players ] [ Rules ]

Purpose:
This event is designed to be a fun experience by the hardcore IP gamers in the RS community. The event, while it does have prizes, is intended to be conducted in a relaxed environment with fellow gamers that you can trust to not cheat and whine about lag and thus ruin the game.

The tournament is to not find the best team of players like typical clan tournaments but to actually find the most well rounded RS individuals. To survive, you will have to learn how to quickly adapt to the teammates you play with while keeping your own stats high. If this event is well received, there wil be future ones.

Rules:
The tournament will accept 40 gamers who will be hand picked by a committee from received applications. This is to ensure that quality players who have exhibited honest gameplay in the past will be included the tournament.

General Rules

  • 30 minute matches
  • Random teams
  • Maps rotated every 5 games
  • Uniforms: Green, Desert Camo
  • 3 minute games
  • Team Killing: TK'ing in 3 games in a row disqualifies you and more than 2 tk's in a game will lead to possible disqualification.
  • Player Dropping: If a player drops while a game is being played, the game continues and they can come back in the next game. If they drop before a game starts, we will wait up to 5 minutes for them to join back up and that time does not count towards the 30 minute match time. Also, we will try to contact you through ICQ/AIM if you drop.
  • You must play in the same amount of games as other tourney players for your score to count. This is to keep the stats recording fair.
