Planning
This snow level is a very enjoyable level. Sniping, killing everything in sight, and making a headlong rush against the enemy. There are some concerns have to consider when you are planning out this mission. Like Perfect Sword, this is a great mission to use snipers on. While you'll end up killing most with the assault team, a sniper works well. So, plan for a sniper-initiated assault. Place your snipers on the far ridge, and have them target specific terrorists in a two round shooting spree. First round: take out the guard in the tower, and the nearest guard. Second round: handle the tangos coming out of the main door. Only once you've killed the main set of guards can you rush the base. Do so thoroughly, and plan routes to cover all the hiding spots--send teams up both stairs in the main building. Also, send a team to rush against the two guards in the tower. Don't forget to instruct your team to blow the explosives, but you may find it easier to just kill all the terrorists.

Execution
Once your snipers have done their dirty work, rush the closest door, and send another team to come around the far side, between the large rock and the middle base. Have them turn the corner and take out any stragglers, and after, focus on the guard tower. Your team should clean out the main building and if need be, get some assistance from the other assault team. Watch it when you're climbing the stairs, they love to hide there. Also, they'll be pretty panicky, so they'll be moving quite a bit. Keep your trigger ready. And don't forget--plant the explosives in the corner of scientific looking room. |
