Mission 6: Crystal Arc

Ah, the first stealth mission.  This first mission is easily much harder than either of the stealth missions that were in Rainbow Six.  There are more tango's, and there is more ground to cover with even less spaces to hide or HBS from.  Another point to note about these types of missions is that its rather difficult to plan for these missions.  Often times, you'll have to dive into a room or duck behind a counter when a tango passes by.  As usual, Sweeney is the character to choose.  Plan to run your man along the very bottom part of the backyard, below the walkway.  The security console is located in the guard house.  Once that is completed, plan to move to the bug on the first floor of the dacha.  Once that is bugged, send your operative to the 2nd floor, where the camera must be placed.  Take the safest route to the extraction zone:  the way you came out, around the wall in the backyard. 

Ah, the fun part.  Run your man along the wall, up the hill, till the guard house is in sight.  Move slowly along the wall, with HBS on, watching for the baddies patrolling the outside of the main house.  Once you've found their pattern, and there's an opening, make a break for the guard house.  Deactivate the security.  Once that is done, head out, and duck beneath the window.  Watch the guards on patrol.  You'll want to breach the porch door (the closest one to you).  Once you see both guards turned the other way, break, and whip out the HBS.  Before you open the door, check out the position of the guards in the house.  Close the door behind you.  Proceed to the left, and move towards the main hallway with the rooms on either side.  The phone is on the first room to the right.  Bug it, and watch for any wandering tangos.  Once that is done, move back into the same hallway.  There are two staircases: don't take the one in the den.  Take the other stairs, and move up slowly until the location of the terrorists show up on your screen.  Once the coast is clear, move into the room on the left and plant the camera.  Be careful when you're heading back down those stairs--occasionally, a terrorist will check those stairs.  Move out of the porch doors, checking your HBS, and head for the wall for some cover.  The last place to watch is where there is a gap in the wall.  Tango's patrolling the outside can sometimes see you (and trust me, there's nothing that pisses you off more than that).
