I have noticed lately that I have not recived a whole lot of mod submissions from the mod makers in the community? Yall are just probbly busy making maps, weapons mods etc. I just wanted to note a few things... If you have sent me Mod Submissions, and I have NOT yet posted about it PLEASE send it to me again @ sniper@3dretreat.com, and I will post about it. But when submitting a mod, please follow these guidelines before you send me your mod, thanx for the understanding! And most likely I will upload the mod to our servers.

There are some really nice new maps out for Rogue Spear, that I have seen over at SIGPAG. It is a clan site, but they have ton of maps that you need to check out! They are called: Egyptian Mayhem, Red Monsoon, Arena, Playhouse, and a bunch more! I suggest you head on over to SIGPAG, and go into the RS/Download section and test out all the new and exciting maps! Tell me what you think of them!

[R] Sgt.SuPa SNiPeRs has made some sniper gamepaly maps that are server sided only with a installer. Some of these maps are sniper type, and some are assault. Download Supa Maps V2.0. If anybody has anymore "Sniper" gameplay maps PLEASE email me with details! And some screens, thanx!

This map was made by haunter2ko@juno.com and it is an edited version of Pandora's Trigger. 2KO is the title od this map, here is what the author had to say about it:"..2KO has 2 insertions that has limited space and on insertion that has teams starting very close to each other, and one regular inertion. 2KO is non overriding." This map is 1.92kb, and you can download it here.

This map/mission was toatally modeled off of "Bay Watch" Check out some screenshots . Here is what the maker "RSFUN" had to say:"I used bunker map retextured by Factor 92, call "seashore" and new "DDAY: Omaha beach" map created by the resistance to edited single player." Download Operation: Beach Watch here. I installed this mods by placing it in my RS/Mods Directory, then opening up UO and activating it the mod in the options.

Operation: Sand Sweeper, is a misson that that is about 1.58mb. The makers, *SMS*DeathBlaDe and JointMaN describe the map:"This mod contains 1 single player retextured assault mission. You
are sent to a unknown area in Mexico to eliminate all of the Mexican Mafia that are patroling the surrounding area. They have secret alien bodies hidden in the area that if told could lead to a world-wide investigation. The Mexican Mafia nor Rainbow want this secret to get out. Rainbow wants to conduct thier own investigation and autopsy. Clan MT has made a multipalyer maps called "MT Ruins" This maps has 2 maps that have been made with 3d studio max. The first mission called "Stonehendge", and the second, called; Sniper's paradise in Mayan Ruins. Check out the webpage for more info @ http://www.clanmt.com, and download the 1.37mb mod here.

NGRU_SpankY has created a server side only map pack with mostly assault and pistols scenario’s. This map pack is good for team play, survival, and adversarial. The map pack is mainly Rogue Spear modded maps such as the storage depot, nuke plant, and the docks for an example. Download the NGRU Maps Mod here.

Once Dark has released a Map Pack Called "Once Dark" This is a 4 level, centrally configured map with both CQC and sniping aspects. Includes a single player terrorist hunt and multiplayer missions. The USMC Map Pack v5 for UO has been released by usmc_greg@yahoo.com . The USMC Map Pack v5 for UO includes 47 server-side only map mods. Greg does note that you should pick up the Mint Mod to play some of the maps. I was getting sick and tired of frames, and how the Mod Section was organized. So With the News Script implemented, and a new layout what do you need next? Well a Mod Database! Soon there will be a mod database handled by an ASP script that will handle the Mod Section! A HUGE thanx goes out to "Oblivion" from Rainbow Six Modding Central for writting/codding the ASP script! Soon the new script will be implemented in the Mod Section, but we are de-bugging it and working out all the details. Stay Tuned and come back often for, the Rogue Spear Retreat Mod Section wil have a $h*# load of Mods to download, and kick butt system to handle them.

A new map from scratch has been released called "Red Monsoon". The screenshots on the website look like a library of sorts. I haven't checked it out yet but you can download it and check out the screenshots here. Thanks Storm.
